This week focused on onboarding, getting familiar with the tools and workflow, and making initial UI improvements to the MIH website. I spent time understanding the platform before gradually contributing small but meaningful changes to the site.
What I Worked On
Orientation and setup. Completed the onboarding process, including orientation and interview. Set up essential tools such as GitHub and Discord to align with the team’s workflow.
Familiarizing with the project. Explored the MIH website and its WordPress setup to understand the existing structure, design patterns, and areas for improvement.
UI enhancements and bug fixes. Worked on improving the overall UI design of the MIH website. Fixed several minor bugs and inconsistencies across different sections, including layout and alignment issues.
Transparent Pricing section improvements. Enhanced the design and usability of the Transparent Pricing section on the homepage. Fixed bugs and improved visual structure for better user experience.
Feature additions. Added “Call Now” and “Get Free Consultation” buttons in the Transparent Pricing section Implemented a mini pop-up contact form for better lead capture Updated package details (Package 1 and 3) on the Business page
Design refinements.
- Improved card alignment across multiple pages
- Updated button colors in the “How We Can Help You” section for better visual consistency
- Fixed missing footer and added social media links
- Continued exploring web design principles and applying them to the site
